“Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not for the faint of heart. We planned and canceled ours twice. Then on the 3rd go, when all seemed lost and hope was fading (no reception or ceremony space 8 weeks out from our 3rd date) - Tammi to the rescue! I'm not a religious man, but Tammi was a godsend. Seriously. She is well connected, community-oriented, and just a beam of sunshine to work with. The vendors we worked with for our special day knew Tammi from previous work and had nothing but good things to say when they found out we had enlisted her services. It really is a special day - to embark on a life together is a sacred and wonderful thing - and planning to celebrate for such an occasion is hard work, but it definitely pays to have the right people in your corner. When I originally reached out to Tammi. I was in the process of recovering from a stroke. I simply sent an email inquiring about the services offered through Vines and Vows. My dream was to have a fall wedding in the Okanagan. This however was a little more challenging as I live in Calgary. After my initial email inquiry, Tammi reached out and scheduled a call with me to see what I was looking for. This was very simple to set up and I was given a quote immediately with no hidden costs or surprises. Tammi corresponded with me through email and phone calls often throughout the planning process. From my very first phone call with Tammi, I knew right away that I didn’t need to interview any more wedding planners. I had found the perfect one for me. Wedding planning can be an emotional and high-stress process. I felt that Tammi genuinely cared for me and for making my vision of a wedding come true. She was extremely kind, thoughtful and willing to go the extra mile to help me out. My wedding was everything I could’ve ever dreamed of and more. Tammi made sure that the day went off without a hitch. Even when it meant heading back into town half an hour away to get us more propane tanks. This is next-level Customer Service. “We worked with Tammi to plan our wedding at Sandy Beach Lodge in Naramata in Sept. 2019 and she was absolutely wonderful!! Right from the very beginning of the planning stages, up to the day of the wedding – she was always helpful, upbeat, available to bounce ideas off of, quick to respond to any emails or phone calls, and had a way of making me feel so much calmer about the whole wedding planning experience! In the initial stages of planning, her contacts with different vendors made hiring a caterer, DJ, live music for the ceremony, bartenders, photographer, hair/make-up, and most importantly RENTALS, so seamless and she helped us choose an absolutely rock star team to help with our wedding day!! When our fall wedding turned into more of a winter wedding feel and the temperature dropped to a balmy high of 8 degrees for the wedding day she made sure we had extra heaters added to our rental order for the tent and formulated a plan B in case of heavy rain and wind (which thankfully we did not have to use - but knowing she was there and would make the call and set up the switch if needed was a huge weight off of my shoulders!). I had guests come up to me after the wedding day and tell me “your wedding planner was so fantastic! She was running around organizing everyone with a big smile on her face, it really looked like she loves her job!” Tammi is truly a warm and welcome friend to have at your wedding, and BONUS she is also super organized, funny, and will do everything in her power to make sure your day goes exactly as you planned! I am so thankful we found Tammi and would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in the Okanagan area.
